The FES team prides itself on long-standing relationships with our clients. We are the sole distributors of several well-known and trusted mechanised agricultural brands and high-quality precision technology. We have represented Massey Ferguson as the sole Malawian franchise holder for more than 50 years, offering our clients in-depth technical, industry and managerial skills, innovative turnkey solutions, maintenance and spare parts, as well as full after-sales, maintenance and backup support services.
FES stocks heavy earth-moving equipment which can be used across various sectors including agriculture, construction and infrastructure. We provide full after-sales, maintenance and backup support services. This includes technical support and stock orders as it means shorter lead times to minimise downtime.
We offer various high-quality and durable Toyota and CT Power forklifts - global market leaders in materials handling equipment - to maximise warehouse efficiency. We supply safe, efficient, cost-effective, compact, mid-size to large industrial units, including food-grade handling options, which adhere to food safety certification system (FSSC) regulations.
We have an in-house consultant who specialises in the design installation of best brand water supply solutions and irrigation systems including centre pivot, dragline and drip, pump stations and pipeline networks in PVC and steel. The irrigation team provides ongoing expert advice, technical support and maintenance of the system as well as any spare parts if required.
The FES team has a two-year partnership with AJ Powers. These are built to EU specifications, provide dependable power in a highly efficient and cost-effective package with a fully staffed electrical department. The team provides comprehensive after-sales, maintenance and backup support services.
Each technical team is headed up by experienced national parts managers with a crew of 30 highly competent staff members, four fully equipped workshops and eight field service vehicles providing full access to skills, training and support across the country.
FES’ stock-holding value is in excess of US$ 1 million and covers the full range of equipment sold. We place consignment stocks with large fleet owners, allowing direct access to spare parts and eliminates the need for you, the customer, to hold stock. To ensure speedy delivery, parts are generally transported by airfreight. The technical team uses direct online computer links to facilitate international orders, which are processed almost instantaneously.
The FES Lilongwe and Blantyre workshops are fully equipped and capable of tackling complete rehabilitation, fuel-injection equipment overhauling, engine and transmission rebuilds and spray-painting. For isolated communities, we provide field service teams to service and repair equipment on-site. Our technicians receive continuous training and development in their fields from a variety of international experts and we extend this training to clients’ operators and mechanics. To ensure equipment is serviced and maintained to the manufacturer’s specification and that downtime is kept to a minimum, we offer fleet owners’ service contracts. The machine and fabrication shops complement the workshops and are fitted with an array of lathes, jigs, milling, boring, welding, cutting and grinding machines, ensuring our customers’ requirements are met.
